Economic Fears Take their Toll on Home Improvement Market

In early January, I polled my panel of HomeTrend Influentials about their remodeling and home improvement plans. Based on their responses, it would appear that, after years of dramatic year-over-year growth, the home improvement market is going to start to slow down. When they were asked how reluctant they are to undertake a major home improvement or remodeling project right now, almost two-thirds of the HomeTrend Influentials said they are somewhat or very reluctant.
